Bay Media Partnership

Location: Western Europe

Since 2001, Britten has worked with BayMedia, specialists in light pole banner programs with headquarters in London, England, to exclusively distribute the patented BannerSaver bracket (StormSpill in the EU). BayMedia is now Britten’s exclusive distributor of ALL patented banner hanging hardware throughout Western Europe. Any traveler to the UK has seen BayMedia’s use of BannerSaver brackets in cities and councils throughout the UK, from London to Edinborough through their innovative use of corporate sponsorship and public service messaging.

Why it Rocks. In 2012, BayMedia’s network of printing and installation teams, along with the use of BannerSaver, allowed them to team with the International Olympic Committee to install over 30,000 banners for the 2012 Olympic Games. It was difficult to watch any television coverage of the Olympics without a shot of a BayMedia banner and BannerSaver bracket on a lamppost. Cities and councils have learned to lean on BayMedia’s expertise when it comes to lamppost programs. In addition to the Olympic Games, BayMedia has provided coverage for the Tour De France, the Queens Coordination Anniversary Celebration, the Commonwealth Games, and many of Britain’s other top events.

1984: The First Banner

While Paul Britten was an architecture student at the University of Detroit, a friend suggested they enter a banner contest to win World Series tickets. They worked tirelessly, entered their hand-painted, custom banner, and won the contest (and the tickets)—as well as an audience with General Motors’ Chairman Roger Smith, who commissioned a 40-by-100-foot banner from Britten that would hang on GM’s world headquarters!

Mission & Values

The Dictionary defines a studio as “the workplace of an
artist, such as a painter or a sculptor.”

Since the Dictionary doesn’t define Britten, here is what
our brand stands for. It means:

  • We say yes. Four-letter words like can’t and won’t aren’t in our vernacular.
  • We keep promises, no matter what.
  • We sincerely care about our customers & each other.
  • We hustle. Life is short, so we move fast.
  • We think bigger. The world is our playground.
  • We raise brands. And people. And families.
  • We’re the real deal. We love what we do.

We’re Britten. Some call us Britten Décor, Britten Banners, Britten Services, Britten MetalWorks, Britten Threads and TentCraft. We’re a family of creative production companies…We’re Britten Studios.
